My amazing tour of Dokdo and Ulleungdo Islands

SunFlower boat (Mukho to Ulleungdo)
Ulleungdo Island
I got the rare opportunity to visit the Dokdo Island ten days ago.First day we reached  The Ulleungdo Island , and spent two night there. Second day we visited Dokdo Island and took very nice pictures. It was an amazing experience. I couldn't believe I was allowed to just walk through Dokdo. I was just informed that all of my stress has been gone, so I'm happy to give you few  pictures of my adventure.
Highest point of Ulleungdo Island
If one had to name the two most famous islands in Korea, they would be the islands of Jeju and Ulleungdo. These two islands are both the result of volcanic activity but each has unique topographical features. A shield volcano that generally has small lava eruptions formed Jeju Island, resulting in more flat, wide areas of land. There are also hundreds of dormant volcanoes on the island of Jeju. The island of Ulleungdo was formed because of violent eruptions, creating high, steep cliffs across the landscape. The sharp curves of the coastal highway makes one feel sandwiched between the uniquely formed cliffs and the clear blue ocean waters.
The island of Ulleungdo stretches across a 73㎢ landmass with a population of 10,426. It is approximately a three-hour boat ride from the mainland. Visitors are often in awe of the unique Dodong Harbor as they arrive. Compared to most harbors, Dodong Harbor has the appearance of a village nestled in the mountains. In addition, if you are in Korea, you should visit Ulleungdo and Dokdo Islands a once. Beauty of those Islands will make you feel peaceful and cool.

Dokdo Island

Dokdo is an isolated island in the eastern reaches of the nation’s territory. It is located 87.4 southeast of Ulleungdo Island. Dokdo Island (180,902m) is formed from a volcanic rock. The island is located at a latitude of 3714′ north and a longitude of 13152′ east. Dokdo Island is composed of two main islets, Dongdo (East Island)and Seodo (West Island), as well as 36 rock islets. Dongdo (98 meters above sea level) has a crater. Seodo (168 meters above sea level) does not have a crater but it is also made of volcanic rocks. Between Dongdo and Seodo is the Hyeongjegul Cave, and there is the Cheonsanggul Cave on Dongdo. Over time, other caves and topographic features of the island have formed due to weathering and erosion.
